Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) partnered with the Springfield Promise Neighborhood for their annual Promisefest at Lincoln Elementary. Rachel Klopfer, certified housing and credit counselor, created an educational and interactive atmosphere for the children to learn how to save money and create financial goals. Children of all ages enjoyed learning the principles behind money saving and had a fun time developing their goals with Rachel. The booth was very popular with not only the children in attendance, but also their parents who wanted to learn more about CCCS.
Tim Brandon, education and marketing coordinator for CCCS, attended the first annual National Night Out Day at the Terrace Ridge Apartments in Troy, Ohio on August 1, 2017. He was there to share information on how to avoid identity theft and fraud. Also pictured are Autumn Truss and Rebecca Williams, social workers for the apartment complex. Tim, along with the team at CCCS, provided seven presentations in 2017, including instruction on how to avoid identity theft, fraud and scams.
